Chicken eggs are delicious, nutritious, and cheap, but these people should be careful when eating them because they may bring disa.ster upon themselves

Chicken eggs have long been known as "superfoods" because of their outstanding nutritional value, but some groups of people should limit or even abstain from eating chicken eggs.

1. People with cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure Chicken egg yolks contain a fairly high cholesterol content (about 213mg of cholesterol in a large chicken egg). Cholesterol is a fat that plays an important role in cell building and hormone production. However, high blood cholesterol can accumulate on the artery walls, forming atherosclerotic plaques, narrowing the lumen and increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, and stroke.

2. People with fatty liver, high liver enzymes The liver plays an important role in cholesterol metabolism. A diet rich in cholesterol can increase the burden on the liver, especially in people who already have fatty liver disease, high liver enzymes. Therefore, people in this group should limit eating chicken eggs, especially the yolk.

3. People with digestive problems Some people may experience digestive problems such as bloating, indigestion, and diarrhea after eating chicken eggs. This may be because their bodies lack certain enzymes needed to digest chicken eggs (such as the enzyme trypsin) or because they have a sensitive digestive system.

4. People with kidney disease Kidney patients need to control the amount of protein in their diet. Chicken eggs are a rich source of protein, so people with kidney disease should consult their doctor about the amount of chicken eggs they can eat. Eating too much protein can increase the burden on the kidneys, especially in people with impaired kidney function.

5. People with fever When having a fever, especially children, eating chicken eggs can cause the body temperature to increase, making it difficult to reduce the fever, similar to "adding fuel to the fire". This is because chicken eggs contain a lot of protein, which when digested will generate a large amount of heat. Therefore, when you have a fever, you should not eat chicken eggs.

Notes when eating chicken eggs

- Only eat thoroughly cooked eggs: Whether it is chicken eggs, duck eggs or quail eggs, eating undercooked chicken eggs poses many potential health risks. Poached chicken eggs, lightly fried chicken eggs or any form of preparation that does not ensure that the chicken eggs are fully cooked can cause digestive problems and are susceptible to harmful bacteria that exist in chicken eggs such as salmonella.

- Do not drink soy milk when eating chicken eggs: In the morning, many people have the habit of combining chicken eggs and soy milk in their meals, believing that this is a nutritious combination. However, few people know that this habit can cause negative effects on the digestion and absorption of protein in the body.

- Do not add MSG to chicken eggs: Many housewives have the habit of adding MSG when beating chicken eggs to prepare fried chicken eggs. Nutritionally, this is a mistake because at high temperatures, sodium, glutamic acid, chlorinated substances... in chicken eggs combine and form sodium salt of glutamic acid.
